Side scan sonar Surveys
Using triple frequency side scan sonar gives us the ability to collect geophysical data simultaneously with the standard hydrographic surveys and as a result to acquire more accurate data concerning the underwater terrain morphology and its features. Furthermore the sensor can be used for typical side scan sonar applications such as:
- Sea bed classification and mapping
- Environmental Surveys (Mapping of the Posidonia Oceanica)
- Underwater archaeology
- Search and Recovery operations
